Your words remind me of that. She says:

"My first discovery was that I knew almost nothing about praise...The subject is mentioned occasionally as a nice worship exercise, a sort of icing on the cake as a gesture to God, but praise as the key to answered prayer, no."

"And when he [Jehoshaphat] had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that [they] should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth forever. And when they begin to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon and Moab...which were come against Juday: and they were smitten." 2 Chron 2:21,22

Thank you for blogging!Vicki Davis @coolcatteacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05549879610620143027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8409108.post-1132894702375612742005-11-24T23:58:00.000-05:002005-11-24T23:58:00.000-05:00Oh, how badly that sounds like me...Oh, how badly that sounds like me...Jake Belderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17509651205566431288noreply@blogger.com
